Just a reminder that while L-tryptophan does make you sleepy in the correct concentration, turkey does not contain significantly high enough amounts to cause that effect. The post-food 'coma' that you experience is likely no more than your body being satiated after large amounts of food (especially carbohydrates) and for some people, alcohol.

Dude, just join the cuddlepile staring blankly at the TV and turn off that enormous sexy brain of yours.

I'm at home with my parents, but I'll be sure to think less and... TV more.

Science! I'm totally fistbumping you from the comfort of my own parents' living room floor. Leftover Friday is almost better than Thanksgiving Day, since you get all the food with far less required familial interaction. (Or, in my case, far fewer friends of the family all up in my space eating Steve's dressing when it's my favorite part of the whole damn day. Good thing Steve made extra and hid it from the guests.)

How did the family dinner go? Never asked if you had more then just your parents family wise.

Family dinner was great. I made the trip back to the mansion, chilled there, came back into the city today for more food. Making the drive back out with the required provisions procured. (I'm taking the rest of the dressing. and a lot of the turkey and the ham and one of Andre's friends made these amazing potatoes.)

What is your policy on friends bogarting your potatoes?

Friends may not bogart the potatoes, friends may have some and I will throw things at anyone who attempts to abscond with them. I do not miss.

*amused* Then I humbly request to share in your delicious potatoes. Also - I did a chin up with my new arm today - it was odd.

I'll bet it was, but hey - celebrations. Hell yes, you can share some of my potatoes. And seriously, I brought like a whole pan of dressing, you have no LIVED until you've stated Steve's dressing. It is the best thing in the world and I have no idea why, it's seriously not that complicated. But it's amazing.

Oh, I plan to have a lot of that dressing, I have heard tales from Matt. You should try some of the yams I cooked as well. Grandmother's recipe.

I um...may also be responsible slightly. I tend to leak when I'm tired.
